National CDFI Academy

Microlending CDFI’s around the nation need access to robust, best in class training specific to their impactful work providing lending capital to BIPOC and low-income entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses. However, few if any resources currently exist that provide ongoing educational opportunities and skill development to staff and board members of microlenders.
To meet this need, CAMEO has launched a National CDFI Academy to provide high quality training and professional development both in-person and virtually to emerging and existing microlending CDFI staff throughout all 50 states, including rural, urban and Indian County. This will ultimately empower an increased number of BIPOC and low-income entrepreneurs to access capital through microfinance to start and grow thriving businesses around the country.
